She has a boyfriend, but I won't walk away.

Okay, so I posted a thread not too long ago asking for advice on what to do about a girl in my life. There was a guy she was hanging out with a lot and my fears came true, she liked him.

Well...now they are going out. And I'm here dying to be with her, again. Because I already was with her earlier this year but we ended up breaking up due to some problems.

So whatever, that was the past.

Should I keep fighting for her, or just let her go. And it's not like I don't know how to let her go, I know what has to be done, I know how it goes about. The problem is that I'm in a conflict of my own ideology. My logic and facts based self and my optimistic and hopeful side.

On one hand, I want to keep trying because I want her so, but on the other hand, I see that she has a boyfriend and that I'd only be hurting myself that much more. Is she worth that hurt? Yes, definitely. I just don't know what to do to win her over.

I asked her if she had any feelings for me, and she told me that she didn't know, and that if she did it would only be little. The logical side says to move on and let her be, but my hopeful side says to continue trying to win her over. What do I do?

i think that if you keep trying to 'win her over' you'll be known to her [and her bf] as 'the ex who's lingering around' y'know? i think if you really like her, you'll walk away, not as a sign of defeat but as a sign that you want her to be happy but you'll still be around to pick up the pieces if something goes wrong.
