Why do guys don't want to be just friends though.

I was emailing with someone for awhile. The person say he wants to meet me as a friend though I went to meet he didn't come ya. I don't get it why would someone say he want to be friends with me not come to be with me ya. Are guys like that. Or is it cuz he don't like that I am not pretty though. Can someone give me advice though. Thanks.

I already send email to the guy to ask why he didn't meet me though. I don't get why he don't even want to reply me ya. It's not that hard to do that ya. I am just sad I think he should at least let me know what he is thinking ya. Does anyone have advice for me though. Thanks.
