Yeah, but what does that have to do with you being old? Well, maybe you aren't old, but you are quite a bit older than I would have guessed

    yeah this is really strange.

I see only a few possible causes..

    1. All these guys were either taken or blind.

    2. You spent so long getting to know them, that you were in the friend zone by the time you showed interest..

    3. some kind of giant flaw in your personality. This is the first thing I thought of, but having read the posts it just seems kind of unlikely. And besides, we know that flaws seldom stop people from having relationships.

it's a mystery. If I was you, I'd try an online dating site, to rule out points 1 and 2. You sound like a catch so you can probably have your pick of guy on there

Tickle-me-sombra, all the kids are raving about this toy. Don't need tickling, reading "I love you" felt pretty good as it is. haha.

you know i just got done watching a documentary on sleeping and dreaming and they were talking about how people who are unconscious or paralyzed see things and meet people right before it happens in real life. one of the great mysteries of sleep...

Hey, thanks. That was random lol...but interesting. Though no where in the show did it mention that they see people before they meet them in real life. Oh wait there is a part 2.

20- 30 guys? i think you mean 20-30 year old guys.

I disagree there though, as sometimes that isn't too bad.. Though it depends how they go about it.

Original poster - I think there must be a big disconnect between what you think you are portraying to the world, and what you actually ARE portraying. I like Giga's advice about a dating coach or finding someone who will be completely honest with you (NOT your friends).

And mish looks nothing at all like Brad Pitt.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Most of my friends at this time are guys (colleagues from work as a musician)...
My diagnose: Lack of femininity. Maybe your life and experiences have made you acquire some masculine attitudes as normal and that is scaring guys (who don't want you to be the man of the relationship) and attracting women.

hypothermia.... well your friends are friends. some will tell you the truth and others will lie just so they don't hurt your feelings. however....

from a superficial point of view. maybe you're ugly. i wouldn't have a steady relationship with some of my friends because i can't stand to wake up to them every morning, but they are my friends. there are times that we get horny and drunk, however, if the sparks aren't there, then the dice don't roll.

non-superficial, maybe you're a bitch. shit, i wouldn't date girls because straight up, they are ugly on the inside. maybe you're not like this with your friends, however guys that you meet might take you in a different manner because they don't quite understand where you are coming from.

these are just two suggestions that a stranger will tell you.

...this is just my perspective on the situation...
