Do you only go for musical guys? I've always found musicians really attractive but alot of them are too... whats the word... into themselves (not that you are). It's something along those lines. And it's just from my perspective. I definitely havent been hanging around the music types since I moved.

It does also sound like you come off really strong. You should'nt try anymore. Or dont talk as much as you would. I find alot of guys find girls attractive who ignore them to a certain point... a quick glance and smile, and the next meeting a 3 or 4 sentence convo. leave them wanting more. And getting a boyfriend doesnt happen right away, it takes time (if you want a good one). Dont be hesitant to invite them to hang with you and your friends too. But just dont get into that friends zone. Oh and also maybe you should make more girl friends, you said most of your friends are guys? (usually it's the same with me) but they might think your too much of a guys girl... or something like that...

It seems I was a little right when I suggested you had a sort of lack-of-femininity issue. Well, fortunately for you, that's not very hard to solve.

But before trying to work on yourself, I guess you'd better think about something. Your first post suggested you were quite surprised of not having a boyfriend so far, being 26 years old. What kind of man would you like to have a relationship with? Have you ever thought about it? I'm sure that 'this kind of guy' is much better than 'any guy will do' for a woman, not to mention that being a little picky is certainly very feminine.

As I see it, there is no need to rush. You may just need a few friends more, out of the artistic circle. See, I've been in a choir for an average of ten years (I play the guitar, the flute, and I'm a tenor, yet not a lyric/dramatic tenor) and I know you always see the same faces and hang out with the same people day after day, weekend after weekend. Some new air will sure renew you.
