Life is ... Too Short.
"It seems we living the 'American Dream', but the people highest up got the lowest self-esteem. The prettiest people do the ugliest things ... for the road to riches and diamond rings."
I think you are number 2 on my very short list, shorty! But mostly because I want to hold your baby.![]()
i've met up with people IRL that i've met online. it was pretty funny each time and it always turned into a piss up. they always say to me that i'm completely different to what they expect. i'm not at all scared to meet people, sure wtf not?
Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching
Internet dating is beyond messed up. Meet people naturally!!! Meet people through a hobby or through a friend. Don't do the internet thing, it's strange and impersonal.
pww, you need to step away from the computer more often and spend more time interacting with people in the real world, face to face. Long-distance relationships are normally a bitch, but this is much worse because you haven't met in person, and you aren't likely to meet anytime soon.

Also, you can be chatting to someone for months, meet up and while you felt the spark online, it's not there in 'real life'. Then you have invested months in someone, for nothing...
I chatted to a guy for about six months before we met. And we got along in real life also....but it didn't lead to the 'romance of the century'. More close friends and 2 years on we still chat daily.
So I guess I made a good friend out of it.
Would I do it again?.....NO!
I met my current girlfriend through an online dating site. She lived less than 10 miles away, and the site said that we were "95%" compatible. After trading a few brief, friendly messages, I got her phone number and called her. That first phone call lasted about three hours, so we went out a few days later. We have been together for over six years now.
